Appearance: Hawk Black looks very much like the part-pixie that she is. Her pixie blood nearly completely overtook her human blood. She's about 4'5" tall, with a nearly perfectly proportional and rather attractive frame. She has curves, but they're subtle; she's thin, but in a healthy way. Her coloring is entirely Pixie--she has the fiery red hair and the unnaturally bright green eyes that all full-blooded pixies are born with. Her hair is wavy and thick, falling down to the middle of her back, and her eyes are slightly large in proportion to her face, as is common with the pixie race. She is unusually pretty and she knows it; though she doesn't go too far out of her way to enhance a good thing.
Hawk's style of dress varies depending on what she's doing. If she's going club-hopping, she would wear heels and a short dress; if she was on her pirate ship, she would be far more likely to be found in baggy pants tucked into her boots and a long-sleeved shirt with a vest on top. Her day-to-day wear varies, but it's generally something comfortable, layered, and that shows off her figure, though usually subtly--a well-placed belt or tight jeans usually does the trick. Though she is fond of makeup, she usually uses it to develop the image she wants to portray that day. A little bit of soft white shimmering shadow when she wants to look girly; thick black eyeliner when she wants to intimidate. When she's out on the ship, she doesn't usually bother; she'd just sweat it off, anyway.
Personality: Hawk's personality is hard to describe, as it's so multifaceted and she's too indecisive to be any one thing. She's quite often a total bitch to strangers and her crew; but she's desperately in love with her first mate, and constantly trying to get Rita to accept her feelings, though the older woman seems to feel nothing at all. Hawk will do anything for money or useful information--she's not above seduction, torture, or murder. Though she seems rather heartless on the outside, a few people very close to her know she's soft.
Hawk is complicated in other ways, as well. Though she doesn't hesitate for a moment to kill a stranger or even acquaintance if their existence becomes problematic, she doesn't really enjoy killing for the sake of it. If she's in a fight, however, she thoroughly enjoys herself. If she feels personally threatened (especially if it has something to do with Rita), she's quick to flash into a rage and kill whoever was causing the problem. On the other side, however, the thought of someone close to her dying is absolutely unbearable to the pirate. She doesn't always stand up for herself as well as she should, but she's been known to put a bullet through a man just for looking twice at her first mate.
Despite being able to heartlessly kill and being the captain of her ship, Hawk really can be just a normal person, as well. To see her on land is to see nearly a completely different woman. She always retains a bit of her hard edge along with her dagger on her hip, but on land, she can be found strolling through the park with Rita, occasionally picking a flower or exclaiming over how cute a baby is. She's not opposed to going out to the club to get drunk and dance until she can't move.
Though she's always bossy, demanding, and somewhat selfish, Hawk is also maternal, loving, and overly emotional (when it comes to certain things). She doesn't usually cry, but she is able, and she usually keeps her distance from people, but this doesn't mean she doesn't have friends.
Personal Beliefs: Hawk is rather open-minded and pretty much believes that anyone can do anything they want,it's got nothing to do with her. Conversely, she's extremely sexist against most, but not all, men--this doesn't stop her from sleeping with them, but it stops her from liking them.
Likes: Rita; being a pirate; freedom; money; being the boss
Dislikes: Men; being wrong; being bested either in strength or wit; being unattractive in any way
Job: Hawk is the Captain of the widely known and recognized pirate ship, the Lily Jane.
Current residence: Stonefish Island (Residential Island 3), in a tiny house with Rita Pearl
Personal Motto: I'm right. You're not. Get over it.

Special abilities: Hawk is unable to use magic, but she did inherit the pixie's eating habits. The captain goes through food almost as quickly as the rest of her crew combined.
Family: Talon Black (Brother), Rita Pearl (housemate, future lover)
History: Hawk Black was 14 years old when she decided it was time to leave her comfortable home in Sunstone Cluster. She'd always wanted to travel and she'd never felt truly herself living a normal girl's life. She didn't run away from home; she calmly informed her family that she was leaving, and that they could try to stop her and she'd never come home, or they could let her go and she'd visit when she was ready. Her mother helped her pack, her brother stuffed a hundred dollars in her pocket on her way out the door, and her father refused to even be home the day she left.
She had no particular destination in mind; she just knew that she needed to be somewhere besides home. She island-hopped her way across four different clusters, looking all the while for somewhere she felt she belonged. She had to stop halfway through because she ran out of money; and she got a job in a small but popular pub as a waitress and bartender. This is where she learned how to steal--first tips, then wallets. Before long, she'd begun to seduce the richer men to gain access to all of their pockets as soon as they fell asleep. It was this practice that earned her the dagger with a jewel-encrusted handle that she keeps on her hip at all times. Though Hawk will always have the stature of a child, she's been well-developed from a young age, and she knows how to use it to her advantage.
Hawk used her bartending and seduction skills to make her way across two more clusters, until she finally hit Seaway. There was just something about the city, she couldn't resist. As soon as she'd arrived, she knew she'd be there for a while. It was exciting, with so many people, so many things to do! When Hawk was 17, she happened across Rita Pearl, in the middle of a violent fight with five men all twice her size. Hawk watched in fascination, and when Rita had singlehandedly put all five men out of commission, Hawk couldn't help but approach. It took a lot of convincing, but she managed to get the tall dragon to talk to her, and they had lunch at the nearest bar with food. Rita took off far sooner than Hawk would have liked, and by the end of their brief time together, Hawk was infatuated, though she'd never admit to it.
It was about a month later that Hawk started looking around for a real job. She was fed up with sleeping with men; she wanted to do something. One day when she went to one of her usual pubs, she was shocked to see a pirate crew recruiting new members. (See RP sample.) She was nearly laughed out of the pub, but someone came to her rescue--none other than Rita Pearl. Rita helped Hawk argue her way onto the crew, and signed up herself at the same time. The two girls grew closer as time went on, though Hawk had a feeling she was far more attached than the dragon ever would be. It only took Hawk about a month to fall completely, head-over-heels in love; and to this day, Rita hasn't accepted nor officially denied Hawk's feelings.
When Hawk was 23 years old, she was still working on the same ship, under the same captain. He pulled her aside one day while they were out at sea with a proposal. He said that he was ready to retire, and he needed a sucessor. He would give her the position, under one condition--she made Rita her First Mate. He said that there was no one he would trust with his Lily Jane more than the two of them working together as a team, and if they wouldn't accept, he would probably sink the ship. Hawk instantly accepted, and the ship has been hers ever since. When she's not on the ship, she has a very small two bedroom house, which she has lived in with Rita for the past seven years or so.
Other information you want to include: Hawk has been a part of me so long that it's hard to describe her in one of these things... RP with her to find out what she's really like. ^.^

RP Sample: Since spending an afternoon with Rita, Hawk had done some thinking, some planning, and some rearranging of priorities... and all of this added up to one thing--she needed to move on. She needed to do something besides pickpocket old women for a living. Now, she wasn't talking getting a JOB of course; that was way too serious and committed for her. But she'd heard about something else that caught her attention, and she was in the Kraken's Cave to find out about it.
As she'd expected, she found two questionable looking men (though no more questionable than some she'd seduced to steal from, for sure) sitting behind a table with a sheet of paper in front of each of them. From her seat at the bar with a drink in her hand, she could observe the way men--usually extremely drunk men--would approach the table, be examined and questioned ("Do you have a wife or children, or an ill mother, or even a dog?" was a standard line of questioning), and then they would either be told to put their mark on the list, or leave. Occasionally the ones told to leave would lunge across the table at one of the men; but there were two others stationed at each side of the table to "assist" these troublemakers in exiting.
She watched this go on for nearly an hour, sipping slowly at the drink in her hand--she wasn't even sure what she'd ordered by the time it was gone, but she just asked for another of the same. It wasn't bad; and it would take far more than one drink to cloud her mind in the least bit.
She had come up with her plan by the time the second drink was half gone. Without allowing herself time to second-guess anything, she stood from her bar stool and walked confidently up to the table, toward the younger of the two men. She would've approached the older one, because he seemed nicer, but she didn't think she'd be able to look at him with a lily tattooed on his cheek and not laugh, so she approached the other instead.
"If you're done dealing with drunken old men, I want to sign."
At first, the man just stared at her. Then a smile split his grimy, pimply face. "Aye, that so, girl? As what, the ship's whore? Ain't gettin' paid enough on land, are ye?"
Hawk had expected this. "As crew," she said calmly, staring the man down.
He burst into loud, half-drunken laughter, and the men around him laughed, too. "A little thing like you ain't fit to even cook in the galley, too weak to carry the pots o' water, y'are," he said, as if talking to a child. Hawk was suddenly very, very angry.
In a flash, she had one knee up on the table and her body leaning as far across as she could. She'd pulled out a short dagger and pressed it against the man's throat. "I'm capable of more than it seems, and I'd rather you didn't underestimate me," she said in a soft, deadly tone.
The man's eyes held only surprise, no fear, though she was sure that was only because he was surrounded by men at least four times her size. Two of them had positioned themselves at her elbows, ready to pull her off at the other man's signal.
"We want none of a girl like you," the disgusting man under Hawk's knife spat at her, waving his hand as if she was a pesky fly. One of the guards took her by the arm and yanked her from the table hard enough that, had she not been ready for it, she would've flown across the room. She was prepared, however, and beyond landing on her feet only a yard or two from the table, she had time to snatch the wallet she'd noticed bulging in the big man's front pocket. He didn't notice.
